Time

Location
A special gathering with local Indigenous Aboriginal artists who are eager to share their art practices in an intimate and informal setting. Join us for this unique event, part of the annual hArt visual arts exhibition program, which celebrates the works of over 100 artists connected to the Mitchell Shire and/or Taungurung or Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Peoples.
In this warm and inclusive space, you’ll have the opportunity to create and learn from two talented artists. Bobbie will enchant us with her weaving skills, while Talitha, an emerging visual artist, will offer insights into her creative process. As they share how their art practice connects to culture, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the artistic traditions passed down through generations of First Nations People.
We warmly invite you to share a cuppa and some light food with us as we learn, share, and create together. You’ll even get to take home a small woven item as a beautiful memento of this experience.
Light refreshments will be served. We will endeavor to meet your dietary requirements so please let us know if you have any specific needs.
This is a free event with limited space, so please be sure to register early.
