This training is a follow-on from the community advocacy panels, where a key theme emerged: how can young people apply these learnings? This is your opportunity to dive deeper and gain practical skills in public health advocacy.
Learning Outcomes: Facilitated by Melissa Stoneham from the Public Health Advocacy Institute, by the end of the training, you’ll have the skills necessary to begin advocating for individuals and groups within your community to drive meaningful change.
Objective: Our goal is to run a dynamic session, increase and build advocacy skills among young people, foster connections, and potentially inspire joint or solo advocacy projects post-training.
Acknowledgment: This training was made possible in partnership with Wodonga Council and Way Out.
